The other day, I purchased two cam buttons from my local dealer, and both of them shattered when I tried to install them. When I looked at the broken pieces, they didn't appear to be any thicker than a host that you receive in church!? Those stupid bumpers cost $8.00 ea.! I got my money back, but how long would that paper thin bumper last if it hadn't broke?! Anyway, I will not use those stupid bumpers in this engine. I'm looking for a bumper that will work on a 300 cid. The same bumper & spring work on the ODD FIRE V-6. The 300 is shoehorned into a 1976 Buick Skyhawk! :3gears:
