Thats great, what really upsets me about his dog fighting thing other than the fact that it is repulsive is the fact that I can even see someone who is financially strapped to do this to feed their familys but it is totally repulsive and beyond forgiveness for a guy who makes millions a year to do this for no other reason than a very sick purpose of his own twisted "enjoyment" He should be punished as much as possible publicly and criminally.Hope he hangs high.........

Hey I would not be above putting him in a pen with some of his dogs after wrapping a few raw T Bones around is neck and say get him boys, but the clean with his own shirts is a good idea too.........

His punnishment should be to have the dead dogs tied to his back while he is in jail for 5 years.

Kinda looks like the Feds had him nailed. Good that no matter what deal the feds have cut with him, the states have a shot at him, too. Betcha there's some pretty tough linemen and linebackers that like dogs, too.

I have been on vacation for a week and this is what me and my Pit did all week.

I wish I had the land he owned. It would be a rescue for all Pits that can't find homes. They would live there and have room to play until the died of natural causes !

He is one sick individual . I have a 5 year old German Shepard ( 130 lbs ) that has a seizure problem . Two nights ago she had a bad seizure while we were in my living room . I sat in the floor with her for over 45 minutes trying to calm and soothe her while she had a really bad seizure . It was very devestating to go through that with her . I'm sure Vick would have in his own sick way enjoyed watching what we went through , yes I had tears watching my dog go through this horrible event . Her vet wants to do some tests and put her on some meds and rest assured my friends she will get all the care she needs . If I upset or depressed anyone with this story I do apologise , but I can not tolerate animal cruelty .

    Mike:

Our Golden Retriever, Sadie, had this when she was about 5 and we couldn't get her out of it. Had numerous small ones before that, but we managed to work her through them by holding and sootheing her while my wife was on the phone with the vet. We took her into a dog hospital and left her there overnight after they put her out on phenobarb. We didn't know if she'd make it or not, but she came through it fine and we got her back the next day.

Unfortunately after a bad one like that, she had to stay on the phenobarb for the rest of her life, but it was a long and very happy life until she passed a coupla years ago at 16. Just lost our other retriever, Sam, a beautiful black flat coated retriever last month at 12, and still miss her greatly. Weren't ready for that, but she was riddled with cancer and went fast.

Sadie developed some thyroid problems soon after that big seizure, maybe due to the phenobarb, and really got bad for a few months until the vets at Michigan State Vet school figured out what was going on. They put her on a drug called soloxin and it was a miracle how fast that took care of everything. She had lost a lot of her hair, lost all her strength an energy, and gained almost 20# before that. Maybe I should try some of that myself!

The vet at the clinic wanted us to put her on a program of psychological therapy at first, but we passed on that part after talking with our normal vet later. He said that part is a ripoff. She did develop a radical fear of thunderstorms after that and would run away whenever she sensed one approaching. Don't know if that was related to the phenobarb or not. Had some "doggy dream" pills we gave her when that happened. She seemed to like them and could care less after that.

Going to get another big Golden as soon as the Fall races are over and I have more time to spend here at home. My daughter's huge lab mix came here for a weekend and never went back home. That was 1 1/2 years ago. He hides when they come to visit.
