Ok dudes I've just about convinced myself into a new credit card with a large max. Heres the story I have this 72 Riv project the engine is a non GS plain jane about 80000 miles I'm probly going with a offenhouser 2 4bbl manifold and stacking 2 of those Weber DCOE's on it this motor has to come out the rear main seal is leaking bad so if I'm in this deap what else is nessary now I have heard that those 72 heads were tough and that I may not need to mess with them When I called weber they said the cam push rods and valves need to be perfick or I'll never get the the engine timed. rember I'm a body man not a wrench and with this car I'm going for the street custom look not all out race oh ya me and my muffler buddy are going with headers and a modifyed corvette side pipes. You may want to try a different Forum....like street/strip. Give more specific information, and ask specific questions. There are a lot of very knowledgeable people on this site that are very willing to share their knowledge. But, most won't bother if they aren't sure what you have or what you want to know.
