This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. Mr Briz, I noticed you were parked where my trailer was until I got a phone call at 11:00 AM this morning saying 'you need to move your trailer'. When a bunch of us came in Tuesday night and Wednesday we were told ' the trailer parking area is in the back of the hotel' and they showed us a map. One trailer owner was told Tuesday late in the day 'park anywhere in the lot, there is plenty of room' So, they hunted down as many trailer owners as they could, called us and we had to scramble and figure out where to put the trailers since it turns out the 'official trailer area lot' designated for trailers was full. I managed to move mine to the back road next to the Walmart but some guys had to actually park their trailers in the Walmart lot.

Also heard yesterday that the tour to the National Battlefield and cemetary was a bust since someone had not followed up with the museum to remind them that there would be Buick folks on Wed/Thurs/Fri coming by tour bus. Turns out there was parking lot and road construction going on and no place to park the buses. Park staff said they usually have more Rangers present when tour groups are coming but had no record of the Buick tours. They cancelled the remaining tours this morning.

Other things seem to be going well and hopefully we get the judging done before the rain starts late tomorrow.

I had nothing to do with the trailer parking situation. I agree it was a cluster Fk on that side of the hotel. My trailer was / is parked across the street at my hotel. Judging went off without a hitch. I was on a 5 man team that did the 63-70 Rivs. took us about an hour to judge 5 cars. I was in the modified"mild" class and was the last of the mods to be judged at 1:30. Got permission to leave the show field at 2:30 then put the car up on the trailer. Dinner and awards at 6:30 tonight. THinking I'll leave for home shortly after dinner.

A big thanks and thumbs up to all the V8 guys I met at the national. Like Ive said before, I could not have done what I have on the Riv without all the help, advice and guidance(and some ridicule) from the people on this board. The Riv was awarded a Silver in the modified mild class.

. . The guy next to me at Springfield bought his 1969 GS400 new and still has it. That is impressive.
