  2. In and effort to reduce the spam on the site, several years ago I had went to a program where I manually approve each and every new registration. This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

Ok, I've got a 69 BB code tranny. Used it for awhile in my race car, but it has just been sitting for a few years now. I'm going to haul this thing down to B.G. to sell, but before I do, I'd like to make at least some effort to find the car it belongs to. Failing that, a correct 69 Stage I that needs it. If I can find the correct car I'd let it go for what I have in it. I would bend over backwards and do my best to see it where it belongs.

The tag on the right hand side of the tranny has the following stamped in it: on the left side of the tag it has "BB-69", near the top of the tag it has "464" and on the right side of the tag it has "1871".

On the left side of the tranny case, just above the pan, the following numbers are stamped: 49H315648.

I know it's long shot, but if you have the car this tranny belongs to, speak up. Or if you have a car that this tranny would be correct for, let me know. Other than that, I'll take it down to B.G. in a couple of weeks.

    thanks

I might also suggest contacting Marco from the Stage-1 registry as he may have knowledge of that VIN and maybe can contact them. Maybe your best bet in case they never visit this site. I'll bet Marco contacts you first!

    You win Dave :beer

Shayne - I do not currently have that serial number in the registry. I will note it in case it does 'pop-up' and the owner is trying to authenticate it.
