I am working on making these. I will be making them as a pair of steel plates and you can bolt them to a 350 pump with the Aluminum bracket. This will be like the 70 GS BB cars have. This is the easiest way to be able to get a BB pump when you guys swap in from the 350!!! OK I am taking a poll here but they are being done very soon. Post if you want a set or may want a set thanks I need to know who to contact!! Thanks

  2. Mike, I may be interested in a set, but I'm a long ways ($) away from my 455 swap project. Any pricing info yet?

I am hoping that they are around the $50- 75 range since it seems the PS pumps as a whole are in the 75-up and I have seen them on ebay go as high as $125 :eek2:

My goal also is to make them as close to the real thing so they will not detour from originality!!! :TU:

    Mike,
I'd be interested in a set or two of the ps pump brackets. Also interested in GS 455 throttle cables, I recall someone talking about re doing them awhile ago.

    Thanks,
    Ed

The brackets are at the computer guy now.

AS for the cables ,......well its like this not one company wants to talk to me unless I am interested in about a million parts. Anyone want to fund this one???

i did a 69 gs 400 into my 70 gs 350 and the power steering pumps sit to high to where my belt hits the water pump. any idea if the brackets your making will work with the 69 BB? a friend gave me the idea of running a double water pump pulley and running a belt around my water pump, crank and power steering pump but i dont know.
    thanks,
    joel

are the brackets done? does anybody have any pictures of how they look on a car? some air conditioning pulleys from a 350 block enabled me to run the belt for the power steering over my water pump and crank pulley. i think i would rather have the correct brackets but this works for now

Look for the thread "Power Steering Pump Brackets $" in The Bench. It was in April of this year. Lots of info and pics on this subject.

Are we talking the steel brackets that sandwich the pump AND the aluminum piece that bolts to the frame? If so, I'd be interested. Those are crucial for a nice swap! I got lucky with the last one I scoffed.. a friend of mine just gave it to me.

Mike is making the two steel plates, The triangular alunimum piece is common. Same on all mid 60s to 71 Buick A-bodies, 350, 400, 455.
