Speed (formerly SpeedVision) usually has plenty of coverage - since NASCAR doesn't race in the winter
I'll be there at least one day. I have a 4 day pass (it rained last night so it'll be sloppy today). Very few Buicks in thge thing this year. Guess I'll look at the fords and chevies... Seriously, the atmosphere is really fantastic and there are many rare, exotic, desirable vehicles there. If you like cars in general, there isn't a better place to be this weekend. Anyone else going? Let's hook up!
Here's speedvision (also known as speedtv, speed channel I think) schedule for the event: Thursday, January 22, 9pm to midnight Friday, January 23, 5 to 11pm Saturday, January 24, 3 to 9pm All times Eastern Watch Barrett-Jackson Car Search Wednesdays on Speed, starting February 18th! Here
Hey Michael!!! PLEASE take note of the 69 Riv, its condition and its options and what it sells for. I'm really curious to see what it goes for. You can buy 70,000 mile one-owner 67 - 70 Rivs all day long for under 5 grand.
I went last year. Buicks are generally thin there and compared to LS6 cars do not bring much. Did you see my post a few weeks back on the 2004 bidders sheet re the fees and taxes? They are up this year even more. Great year to see it by TV. The only forecast clear day is Sat. Unlike last year when the temps were in the 70s and tops were down the highs this year are upper 50s to lower 60s every day. We have the 50s here today.
