   What is the proper balast resister that should be used with the stinger s-4 ignition system.I have been this system without a resister for 10 yrs and haven't had a problem.I replaced the resistive wire with a new wire.

   Dave,
   My Stinger S-4 ran with no problem with full time 12 volts. According to their instuctions(I have a copy) they recommend a 1/2 ohm resistor.
