OK, there was another thread talking about ATI, BHJ, ROMAC, and stock. On my old motor I used the ROMAC, externally balanced, I bought a BHJ from TA for the Moldex crank to be internally balanced, I'm pretty sure I'll be using the BHJ and internally balance this new Stg 2 I'm putting together, on that old "thread" I read that the BHJ had to be honed to fit, I tried mine on the Moldex crank, and the stock .010/.010 that I'll be using on this motor, and it doesn't fit, It needs to be honed! How do you hone this to fit??? It's a hole with a keyway, that keyway is what is throwing me off. I'm picturing me in my garage with a hone, like for rebuilding a brake wheel cylinder, but that will not work! What is a "shade tree" mechanic like me to do!???? I do want to Internally balance this new motor, so what do I have to do?? Can I just use the longer bolt that I used to pull the ROMAC bal. on the old motor?? When I give the whole rotating assy. to the balance shop would/should they do it??? Can they do it?? Things are going to start happening quick, so any info. is greatly appreciated.
