back window down or up

    Before letting top down / what I mean is it better to unzip the plastic window before letting top down or is it OK to leave it zipped ?:Dou: Thanx Moz

    I never bothered with unzipping the back window on any convertible that I owned. It seemed to be too much a PITA. If the top was installed correctly, there shouldn't be any cause for concern from the plastic binding.

    Then again, I'm certain that others may have differing opinions.

    I agree but I've talked with some who put a towel on the outside surface to prevent dirty rubbing the plastic window after it folds up.

    biggest problem is trying to zip it closed after a few days.i ripped the zipper seams trying to close mine years ago.but the top was old,forced me to learn how to install a new top.:Dou: now i pay people to do it:Brow:
