Well after a long time of work, life, holidays, etc. getting in the way, I got back in the garage for a couple days and not only un-burried my Buick from the myre and prepared to do some work on her but, I actually finished one of the thousand open cans of worms....... I finished my steering column!!:beer Came out great! Totally apart and sanded down to metal, primed, painted, cleaned-greased, repaired and put back together!..Tilts smooth as silk and switches and shifts like butter. Now I just have to finish the rest of the car so I can install the sucker..lol A small victory for me and my resto....meaning rest-o-my life. I'll post some new pics when I get a chance. I really enjoyed getting the column done, so I think I'll get a bunch done in the next week or two. I have everything I need pretty much.
Yea,SOMETHING ALWAYS GETS IN THE WAY BUT AT LEAST YOU ARE MAKING SOME NICE PROGRESS ON YOUR CAR.LOOKING GOOD
