I'm installing the engine wire harness that I got from year one for my 1970 455 I have most of them in place, there are just a few I would like to be sure on. Does someone have a color code for the harness they can post? I would use the old one but someone hacked it up.. Thanks, Vin ray:
I just put a new engine harness in my '68 a few days ago. The ones you might be confused on: pink: to coil+ blue: to oil pressure sender green: to temp sender in intake manifold purple: starter wire (closest to driver's side) yellow: starter wire (post closest to passenger's side) black w/ red strip (I think): to heater blower I am assuming the '70 is similar to the '68. The rest should be pretty obvious, but feel free to ask while this info is still fresh! -Bob C.
