Just got a new z-bar from parts place inc. The label says 400 and 455 BB. They say that it will also work for 350. True?
The 455 and 350 Z-bars and linkage are different. The 455 uses a heim style clutch rod while the 350 uses the pin style. I know of one person here (Tubbed) who used the big block linkage with a 350 and he said it worked great.
If you look under the "operation 4 speed" post, or do a search for my fabricated clutch rods you will see what the "heim" style big block rods look like.
