The manual rack & pinion was another thought that crossed my mind, but I really want to go the cheapest way possible, but if it is a difference between having to do it twice or spending more money, I'll spend the cash. Am I right in assuming that all of your steering boxes are behind the cross memeber? I thought that they made these both with them in front and behind?

    Keith,
The '73 & '74 Apollo's are "rear steer" steering box locations as opposed to our GS's that are "front steer". If you are not building your Apollo for class racing, them use the R & P set-up. It should make header selection a lot more simple. If someone does try the "shorty headers" on an Apollo, please post a reply.

I drug in a 70 GS 350 non-air car this week, no motor or trans, looks like it might make a good winter project. Maybe another GS Race Car??? 12 point cage, back-half, four-link, 9" with big-o-tires?

    Later,

    Marv.

    Marv,

You'll have to let us know how your winter project runs next spring. I think I'll try the R&P this winter , it sounds like that is my best bet for what I am going to do with the car.
