Anyone need a '65 225 for parts or?

I'm looking at a '65 225 for the engine and tranny. I've driven the car and it needs some brake work. It's a 4-door and is really clean. Interior is gold and in beautiful shape except for the headliner. Power seat and I think it had manual windows. It has a bent in front bumper (grille looks straight) and a crease in the trim that comes down off the quarter panel to the bumper in the rear. No rust thru at all and looks like the original paint. Hate to take the drivetrain out of it but, it's what I want and they aren't exactly common around here. I'd probably want about $500 for it. Let me know if you're interested. Or, if you have a '65 or '66 401/th400 setup you would like to sell and are near Omaha. Thanks, Brian

I'm guessing you want to sell the remainder and not part it out.

If you want to part it out, I'm sure the board could canibalize it.

Does the car have A/C? I'd be interested in the center portion of the dash. i.e. the A/C vent down to the ashtray including the climate control section.

What color is the interior? Is the steering wheel/horn bar in good shape?

    Seatbelts in good shape?

Does it have a fan shroud?

    Front drums aluminum?

    Cruise control?

Does it have the post between the front and back window? If no, I'd be interested in the vent window assemblies.

I'd be interested in the doors, if they are good.

The interior is a gold color and in excellent shape. The front clip is rust free and straight except for the bumper. Doors should be straight and rust free. Can't remember if it is a hdtp. or not. Has a/c and I think tilt wheel. No rust on the car, it just has too many doors. I will part it out if I have to. I'm just trying to see what kind of response I would get so I can get a little money back if I do buy the car. I'll try to snap some pics tomorrow. Let me know what you guys need. Like I said, I'm not trying to get rich, just trying to make some of the total price back. Thanks, Brian

    My list is:

Center section of the dash from A/C vent down to the ashtray, including the climate control panel.

Vent window assemblies if from non-post and in good shape.

    Speedo rings.

    -and more

If the car has an original am/fm radio in it,I could use it for my '65.
