There seems to be a pattern with this guy because he has $1600 from me and i still haven't received any parts. I have 3 kids, and I should have just spent it on them. Paid him with checks and once checks cleared he avoided my calls and that was back in Feb. Doesn't respond to emails either. He's got away with words, you gotta give him credit for that. Or we are just to trusting when it comes to the Buick community. I always thought you could trust another Buick guy. Grant you that doesn't mean everyone is like that but there's always one bad apple. He's probably laughing at us right now! Probably has another username that we don't know about. A few people have tried to help me out but his way with words made them believe i still owed Mark money that's how good he is. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!
Wow-Dave and jerrod I though i was the only one-well this is what happened-After he offered me this ,what seemed to be a great deal 1984 rust free regal (green with moon roof).I told him he was to far a way me being in Greenbay WI but he has a father in law that gos on runs with a semi down to FL and he lives up here in Beloit which is by milwaukee.for free.I thought this would work out good.He wanted $1000 which he went down to $600 if i sent him some parts--front bumper strip,header panel (which he claimed was damaged),frt and rear bumper fillers,78 bumper extentions and around $50 for shipping and handleing. then he would though in a set of rust free regal door.I should have know it was to good to be true,but like jerrod said he would call all the time checking up on parts talking about the car or whatever.Very charming guy. thank god i didnt send him no money-he didnt ask for it but i though about it. Same here with time the last package i sent him was in feb.,i do have ups (address)receipts-he gave me a phone number but i lost it so i just have an email which he doesnt respond too.Boy this makes me sick boy hes luck he dont live up here. I have posted before but I wanted to make sure I was on this list too. It really sickens me that this goes on here. I wasn't shorted quite so much money as you guys but I was shorted just the same. He even claimed the cast iron manifolds I sent him were damaged and asked if I could send two more. What an idiot! MARK
Guys, I'm looking into the options for restricting his access to the board, but there's not much else we can do. He is not replying to my emails either. You may want to post asking if any members live in the area of FL where he is located. Maybe a personal visit would get some results.
If you guys sent $$$ thru the post office there is a crime unit that will do somethings but I dont know what...
He did mention to me that there were a few members on the board in his area. But now that I think of it, if everything else he told me was a lie then the "members in his area" is probably a lie too. MARK

If you will all get together and file a claim with the postal inspector they will proceed with criminal investigations. As long as you have a receipt for your parts and sent by USPS, this is considered US mail fraud and is a very serious crime, FBI will also get involved since members are in different states. Just a word of advice about buying parts: Always use registered mail w/return receipt requested. It is an extra $3-4 at the post office but will document your fund transfer and enable a mail fraud claim should one be needed. Sound like there is a class action investigation needed. It just amazes me that people try to pull scams here and think they will get away with it. Good Luck to all !

Ok guy's anyone interested in getting your money from this guy ? I called the Sherriff's office yesterday, and then got ahold of the court house in Ocala Fl. looks like i'll be heading for florida soon. I have to file a complaint form online then send it out. I'm not going to send the complaint form out untill next week so let me know what you decide. If you guy's call the Sherriff's dept in Ocala Fl. ph. 1-352-732-9111 You can get the ball rolling and if it is "possible" i would be willing to stand in court on your behalf. Food for thought guy's the more that file the better chance of getting things done, instead of going after him one at a time. Remember he's got a way with words.
