anyone having problems with starters dying. Ive had 3 in the past 6 months, the last one the case split in half:eek2:
only thing that will snap a front housing is bad timing or cross-fire.check your plug wires for not touching each other,cap for tracking and as said above,advance stuck.
I thought I didnt have it shimmed right will check that out. Sounded terible when it broke. Im runing a HEI unit if that haelps any??? Ive also been killing alternators, and regulatrs im on my 2nd alt in past 6 months and 2nd regulator also. its just starting to get rediculous. Could it be the remanufactured parts ive been using???
