Anybody have any original exhaust pipes

Need some original exhaust system head and tail pipes from various musclecars.

 

Do you need them to keep,or just to get info from?
I have the original exhaust from the GTX but I don't want to part with it.

 

Just to take measurements. Looking into doing thinwall stainless steel systems.

 

Go for it, Mike......and don't leave out the '66-'70 Rivs. If I had some I'd give them to you but I don't.:bglasses:

 

Tips?

I have the tips from the original Ramrod tailpipes saved. One of my rabbi friends removed them for me.

 

I have one side of a '70 Buick, not sure which engine it is for anymore would have to check it out. Long pipe from engine to muffler. NOS

 

I'll keep and eye out for some Mike. :TU:

 

All samples are welcomed. These systems should be pretty trick. Stonger than steel and the same weight foot for foot as aluminum:TU: I want the pipes to be diect bolt ins for factory pipes except they will be andrel bent.

I am going to be changing mine by winter. I will let you know when they are out. Car is 70 stage one with orignal exaust system.

Whoever supplies me with a sample I can(and do) use I will let you have a system at cost. I already have an original 440 H pipe from a B body Mopar, Have an original B body Hemi system. A Stage 1 system would be sweet.

What diameter pipes are you going to be making?

2.5", Mabey 3" as well. Probably gonna keep it to 2.5" to get started.

 

You gonna be @ Stanton Mikey? I could probably tote along our original chambered system from our Yenko for ya to measure...
