Any good yards in the mass area? Getting a tad cold for this Masshole but I refuse to put the roof up or park it for another month. 37 degrees this morning. Staying warm by the heat of the cigar. Time to start looking for parts for the winter. Any leads?
there was a yard down in rhode island that was huge. i think it was exit 5. no name or markings for the place but the place was over 150 acres. the only thing is the owner is kinda nuts and thinks everything is gold plated. there is one in carver called ferrera's (spelling) that did have some old stuff but he did clear out when the price was high. there was moores on 140 in bellingham but i think they are shut down and the same type of owner as the r.i. one. no other old ones that i know of. what are you looking for.
Moores is nuts. The guy would not let me in there the one time I was there because he said there were bees in the cars. I said I did not care but he did not let me in anyway. Never mind the old guy wearing womens high heels working there. I swear.
North Smithfield Auto Salvage http://www.nsautorecycling.com/ $5 to get in and you can't pull any parts from the old cars until you negotiate a price on it. Classic Heaven in Brimfield, Ma http://www.classicheaven.com/ Never been there but I hear it's a bit pricy
there used to be a yard known as Hollands? in Billerica, but i moved away to the southwest in 1993 so i have no idea if it still exists. they had stuff piled three and four high in the mud, as i remember
Hollands is still there but the selection of old iron is thin. Jacks on 495 has a few older cars way out back, but it's purely hit or miss if you'll find the model you need.
there is one in greenfield,ma and one at the bernardston exit 28b,cant remember the names buford owner
Not sure what you are looking for the one and only conv I saw there was gone by the time I could come up with the cash..They did have a couple of 70 + Skylarks there...kinda hurtin ..been a while since I have been there Will & Sons, Dartmouth kinda old school
