Just wondering if there are any fellow paintball players out there. I my self own a Spyder TL Plus, Spyder E-99 and a Tippmann A-5.

  2. Paintball is a blast! I haven't played for several years though, 6-7 at least. Only played outdoors, in a wooded, tall grass, river bottom area that is very popular here.

tell you what i had a tippy a-5 till i sold it. never shot it cause i bought it in the winter but i had the response trigger armson 11'' rifled barrel one of those m-16 telescoping stocks and a drop foward tank adapter. have you ever broken a ball? the response triggers are rated at up to 11 shots per second. kinda wished i had kept. I played alot. i got shot in the neck by my brother from about 3 feet away and he had a tippman 98 and those things pack a nasty punch. wish i had taken a picture cause i had a red and blueish yellowish mark about the size of a tennis ball on my neck. luckily it was down by my collar bone and away from my throat.:jd: i guess i got him back when i sort of accidently shot him in the mask right over his ear one day when we were playing with a bunch of people in a big abandoned farm house. its a good game though

We play about once a month. My buddie has 52 acres that we play at.About 5 acres are pine trees, and about 20 are thick woods. I played for the first time this summer, well lets just say the next day I had a new gun:blast: I have a Tippmann custom 98 with the Flatline barrel, that flatline made a huge diffrence in the gun

tippman's are very nice and cheap considering the reliability your going to get out of them. if you ever change barrels try going to a 10 or 12 they say they are the most affective in both woods and open field play. i heared the flat lines tend to curve after awhile but shoot really damn far. they probably work great in the woods but i always had bad cures in my shots with a long barrel in open fields but it was real accurate in the woods. just a suggestion though. oh yeah and if you do get another barrel fo with DYE. they make awsome barrels and the boomsticks are still rated high on top for barrels.

ive got the flatline for my a-5 although i dont always play with it. i really like the looks of the stock barrel. but you cant beat the range! boomsticks i hear are one of the best barrel systems out right now. im thinking of getting an auto cocker next. the a-5 is my sniper weapon although it shoots pretty quick but my e-99 is my man killer. when i kick that thing onto full auto and put on the revy hopper, its all over...hehe im trying to start an indoor paintball arena here in northern california. i hope to get one open in the next few years. im thinking of basing it inside a 20,000 square foot warehouse or something.

oh yeah, unless you hate your thumb on your trigger hand, dont get a tippmann 98. the bolt mechanism comes out just above the pistol grib and tends to "bite" thumbs if your not careful. my cousin has one and i was playing with it. got the nastiest bruise from it. needless to say he almost didnt have a gun anymore. wonder how far i could have thrown that thing?
