This is an Oldsmobile OT air cleaner complete. If my recollection is right I think it is pre 72 models. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Randy

I know 68 is red for the 4v, and looks different than that with an older type pcv. I would think late 70s, early 80s, especially if it is to a 4 barrel carb. the older ones look deeper and have a different lid. That one kinda reminds me of the one on my 85 Delta 88, but I've owned 4 68 olds of different types, both two and 4 barrel, and that doesn't look like any of them. The more rounded the intake portion of it is, the older it usually is due to manufacturing techniques and space saving for emission junk.
The more I look at it the more it confuses me. It looks like it had a chrome middle in the top which would suggest its older, and the horn doesn't look flat, so its older than the 80s. Carbon date the fuel...j/k. If I can get hold of a couple buddies of mine around here I'll check to see which one it looks more like, but please take a couple more pics of the bottom and both side views to make it a little easier.
Here are some more pics. I know the OT should tell what it is off of. there is a huge dent in the back for the distributor and the snorkel will be on the drivers side. Looks like on the 1969 it would be on the passenger side or to the left as you look at it from the front. So I am thinking this is 1977 403cid.o No:
I say 73. The later ones with HEI were offset for the carb opening. HEI came out in 74. Snorkel goes to the drivers side which started in 73. Paul
