I just tried mineral spirits and steel wool and it seems to be working ,I'll post pics once I have the paint off.
I have a halon fire extinguisher in have in my old car. had it for years. A company that sells & installs extinguisher system gave it too me. I know that it is dangerous when applied to a fire so I have to be sure the wind is at my back.
