I think we looked at a 1977 Century wagon at Shannon Buick before my parents ordered ours from Holt Buick in New Carlisle. Was it on Salem Avenue?
Never thought I'd hear the name Shannon Buick! My father worked there in the late 60's and early 70's. It was the brand new company cars that were always in the driveway and the Sat mornings trips to the Body Shop that got me hooked on Buicks. The Shannon Brothers were heavily involved in open wheel racing and ran cars for years at the Indy 500 and also the short tracks. The dealership is still operating but it's now Reichard Buick.
