Any advice on getting a POA valve to close?

    The stock POA valve in my 70 GS is stuck open. Any suggestions on saving it?

    Tap it? I assume the system is charged and has oil?

    Yes and yes. I have a reconditioned unit coming today from a vendor. (I tried knocking on it with a Crescent wrench, but no luck.)

    Sorry to hear. I've noticed that units that have sat expoxed to the elements (open systems) tend to corrode internally and cease to work.

    I was adjusting the POA in my '66 Toronado yesterday, then I noticed I ordered the wrong dryer. Will be charging tomorrow!
