Click here: 2009 Pure Stock Pics!! Photos of each pairing that raced Saturday. And, most importantly, the spread sheet with all the figures and facts from the 2009 PSMCDR. :Comp: WARNING!!! Because of issues and costs with signing up for a one year commitment for a web host, I added the PSMCDR stuff at the BOTTOM of my GTS Registry page. :eek2: Click on the link above and scroll alllllll the way down until you see the PSMCDR header and a Camaro that looks out of place on a Mopar web page. :TU:
Good stuff there Frank. Only thing I noticed is the listing for the R4 Lark. It should be a 1964 model year instead of a 1966. It is listed as a 1966 in three places. In the writing describing the new cars at PSMCDR, on the picture of the 2x4's under the hood, and in the runoffs area. Still a good article with lots of info on the cars, and another shout out to Dan and Bob, and the PSMCDR event. :TU: :TU:
Frank, Great Job! Nice work!:TU: and thanks for capturing my only red light to date,in my Nash Rambler AMX.:bglasses: You kill me! Rich C.
John, I fixed that. I don't know what I was thinking when I typed that out. o No: If it was a '66 it would have a 283 Chevy under the hood!
Tom, If you look at the sheet, you will notice a number of pairings do not have a third round listed. I believe that is because one of the cars has already won two of the races. If your pair had to go three rounds to decide a "winner" than the third round is listed on the sheet. I have nothing to do with the production of the spread sheet. Dan and Bob provide that and I get my hands on the first edition thru un-named sources.
Hey Frank, I found one other minor error. The ninth pair of cars on the list, Curt Alspaugh's 1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator 351/290. Curt's Cougar is actually a 1969. That's a lot of info to get right so we'll let you have a few error's. Don't worry, we won't send the thugs over to your house, yet.
Three hours of typing out HTML and my vision gets blurry. I printed out the spread sheet and it took 12 pages that I had to cut and tape together to make one HUGE page for reference. I'll give you guys credit as you are already pouring over the details. We just have to wait for Donny to start with his indexing of sub categories using that info sheet as well!
Aready working on it... Did you know there were 19 cars in the first round that pulled sub-2.0 sixty foot times and 21 in the second round ??
the AMC contingent was undefeated this year....:moonu: the car count looked like this: AMC Count 3 Buick Count 17 Chevrolet Count 38 Dodge Count 11 Ford Count 11 Mercury Count 4 Oldsmobile Count 9 Plymouth Count 11 Pontiac Count 33 Studebaker Count 9
Nice job.Are the weights accurate? Mine did not match what i weighed, and neither did my brothers. No big deal, just wondering.
So were the Studebakers. Apparently, the "little guys" are THE FORCES TO BE RECKONED WITH! :Brow: :Brow:
Jeff Sawruk figured it out, and he said they were off by a percentage, that you couldn't just say they were 500lbs off for every car. I think he said 10% So mine should be listed at 4238, where the spread sheet has it listed at 4200 flat. Is everyone in agreement? Is your car listed as being "lighter" than you know it is?
