    Greetings to all,
Just found this site recently, couldn't wait to sign up, kudos to all involved....Super site.......!!!
My name is Bill Renico, reside in Grand Blanc, Michigan, retired about 7 yrs. ago....& really enjoy life.
A relative of mine, back in 1982, convinced me to join the Buick Club of America & the local Buicktown Chapter, as he felt it would expand my horizons immensley..
It was probably one of the better pieces of advice I've ever had & taken in my life.
At this time, I am the proud owner of a '56 Buick Estate Wagon, & a '83 Riviera Convertible.
I'm really hoping most of the group that belongs to this site will really make a serious attempt to make the trek to Flint, Mich. so you can join us in the celebration of Buick's 100th anniversary in July. This is going to be a "one of a kind show".
If you are able to make the show, please stop by, & say HELLO..
Again, a SUPER site, very informative, & a SPECIAL thanks to Joe T. for talking me into joining the club.....
    Sincerely,
    Bill Renico

welcome to the BEST site that I have found for Buicks.I have been coming here since the beginning of the year and have met and exchanged talk with alot of nice people here. I tell everyone about the site and I visit it every day enjoying the info and responses by all. There are several people here that are so knowledgeable and are willing to help every one out. I am glad to be part of this.

    Hi to Casey C. & John T.....
Many thanks for the warm welcome.
This is a very interesting site to cruise thru....,Great bunch of people........I'm really going to enjoy this place......Kind of a warm & fuzzy place to relax & learn.
Casey, kinda mapped out the route, & it equates to about 2100 + miles from Idaho to Flint....about 30 Hrs. as the crow flies...., but with a GS, you might be able to knock off about 1/8 of the travel time.... if ya travel fast at night with the lights off.....& gas prices don't get too crazy....
J.T.Y, you have a few more miles to travel....about 2375, but would enjoy seeing/having both of you attend our show in Flint.... Maybe both of you could make a hookup somewhere & travel together.
If you don't have lodging reservations in place yet, I would suggest you get those set.....(they can always be cancelled if situations change), as we are at 1400+ rooms booked in the general Flint area.
Info for rooms can be obtained by going to the Buick Club of America website at:
    www.buickclub.org
This will tell you how to go about obtaining lodging, getting registered, functions, etc. etc.
The "General Forum" section also talks about groups forming in the West Coast areas so nobody really has to travel alone...& The award is really a "One of a kind".
Really hope to see both & more come for our anniversary show. It will really be a show to remember.....
    Again,
Thanks for the warm welcome aboard....hope to see you all in July....
    Sincerely,
    Bill
