So it looks like I will be replacing the bolts. At this time the motor is a 10:1 with aluminum Stage 1 heads. Next season I will be going to flat tops to bring the compression up to 12+. The question is should I stay with the bolts or go to studs? Where to go to buy them? Should they 12 point or 6 point? Its a chassis car so room is not an issue.
    Thanks Rick

I have head bolts but would rather run studs.Less stress to the block and better clamping to me.

Studs are the only way to go once you start making any power. Get a good set of ARP. Most you see will be 12 point. You can get them at any performance dealer.
