  3. The "Group Buy" for the 1967-68 Deluxe Steering wheel recasting is now officially "Open". Now is the time to start sending in the wheels. The latest date that the wheels must be received by Kochs is 31 March 2025 The cost for each wheel is $750. The only "up front cost" is your shipping the wheel. If you send in more than one wheel, each additional wheel will cost $700. Shipping and insurance to Kochs and return shipping will be extra. You will be contacted by Teresa to make payment for the wheel(s) and return shipping and insurance when your wheel(s) is complete. The shipping will be factored on your delivery address and insurance. I will be sending the contact information all of you have sent me to Teresa at Kochs.     Most of the body work was done. I did a ton of work on the fenders and hood, but that’s mostly it.

    These earth tones get a bad rap since they look so dull when the paint is old and faded. But it’s been nice to revive several of them in the last couple years. This one, Burnished Saddle, and the Lime Green 69. They look so good when fresh.

    Need to get my Stage 1 finished and park these 2 side by side. Hard top harvest gold exterior and burnished saddle bucket interior.

    You are right about the color. When dull and washed out they look awful, but that color is really sharp. Adam, Excellent work and time management. More Motivation for me to get back in the garage. I spent 7 hours arranging the garage today and need another day to finish. Then move the car over.
