Andre needed some parts for his project... Spoke multiple times on the phone, facetimed, etc. Felt I was helping out a member on this board. We agreed on a price for some parts, I then LOWERED my price (by $100), and sent them before I received payment (MY MISTAKE).

promised that his GF will send payment, no payment. Texts that he will call me "today", every day this week, no calls, no replies to texts.

Tracking shows the box was delivered May 3. He was on this board May 3 @ 7:40 PM.

He also sang me a song about how HE was ripped off....

Andre- just pay what you owe....

 

Sorry to hear George.. after being burned a few years ago on this board, I no longer send out parts prior to payment.

 

I know better. I got burned ~ 15 years ago out of Canada- in which I no longer ship anything up north. Since then, only on people I do not know, I ask for payment up front. I was strapped for time to get to the post office.. THAT'S why I sent this out prior to payment. Now he is dicking me around. Whatever. I hope he gets his.

Thanks Steve. It became a mess... then, in the end, I lost ~ $400.. LOL. Whatever.. Just another lesson not to trust anyone that you do not truly know.

My advice to all of you to avoid this issue, is to simply treat everyone the same.. Get full payment before you ship anything. No Exceptions.

Remember, this is not personal, it's business. Everyone that I have worked with for the last 20 plus years never has questioned that principal.

Beware of anyone who does.
