American Racer D.O.T. race tires. Anyone know about them?

I'm researching drag tires for my new 15 x 8 Rallye wheels. Of course, I've heard of the usual Mickey Thompson and M&H drag radials but came upon these racing tires made by American Racer today. The have many sizes, tread designs, and compounds to offer. Has anyone used these tires or know someone who has? They look nice and some of the tread patterns remind me of the old McCreary drag tires.

They look like stock car tires.

    gscalifornia Small blocks rule!!

If you read their web page it says they ARE McCreary Tire and Rubber Company! Looks like they're all circle track tires though.

While the McCreary tires are suitable for drag racing (I used them back in the '90s) I decided on the MT ET Street Radial II. They arrived yesterday. I decided on the 275/50 x 15s.

I use their G60 dirt modified tire, and use it for street and track. Works great in both configurations.
