I recently bought a 4 post hoist from "American Automotive Equipment" It was shipped to a business in MN for me to pick up. When I finally recieved notification of shipment (after i threatened to call visa to reverse the charges) it was indead damaged when it arrived. Unfortunatly the reciever (a 3rd party) didn't see the damage. I sent pics of the damage as i unpacked the hoist and the manufactor said they would help out somehow but I never heard back even after numerous emails and phone calls:af: . Its amazing how you can read previous buyers positive reviews/feedback, but there seems to be no way for a person to leave a review or feedback on there website? Just ranting now but it seems many manufacturers seem to think the country is one state wide and the shipping companies have one guy gingerly pick up the parcel and the same guy delivers it on the other side of the country. I was considering ordering 2- 4 posts from American Automotive Equipment thankfully i only ordered the one. My next one will come from somebody else.:moonu:
I had a good experience with them, zero problems w/ the delivery & installation. Very happy with the lift.
You might want to introduce yourself in the new members section. With a first post like that, someone may think you work for the company.
