Am i leaving anything on the table?

    Thank You! I'm not dead set on using that cam. It came with the motor parts. I would consider a different cam if I get to keep my power brakes. I'm holding out hope for a set of heads from TA but its not looking good!

    If you have the cam why not try it. The cam I have works my brakes OK but that is about the most you can go without getting iffy, IMO. I have a bigger cam in another car but I run an aux. vacuum canister.

    This comment isn’t performance related, but don’t forget about the oil mods.

    Sure it’s performance related. If you don’t oil it,you have no performance sooner than later.

    This is very close to my combination. Same cam & wt but 3:42 grs, 9.5 JW converter. Same size carb but with aluminum heads. 5 years ago at the track the car went 11:63 @ 115.20 mph. I have a Craig Bonhoff hood now. So it should be a little faster. You should be in the mid 11s for sure.

    I’m excited! Been holding off hoping to find a set of TA heads, and found a set of Stage 2 TE heads! It’s blowing my budget having to buy new headers and a intake, but I’m sure the extra power will be well worth it!
