I mentioned to a seller on facebook that the aluminum valve covers with BUICK embossed on them were made new. He said no. TA has them but apparently without BUICK stamped on them. Am I mistaken and the only "true" aluminum 401-425 valve covers need to be original? It's been awhile since I was in the hobby so my recollection may be off. I thought repops were common and included the BUICK stamping.
They are reproduced. $375 on TA's website. They do blur out the 'Buick' in the pictures but they are there like the originals. Originals have the part numbers and Winters 'snowflake' logo cast into the underside of the covers. Moon makes the finned valve covers without the Buick logo.
