hello How long are aluminum valve cover bolts? Are they the same length as the originals or longer? regards Klaus
I believe longer because I just read a thread written by JW about some custom-made valve cover both. He was saying something about they have to be a little bit longer because the aluminum valve covers where they made to the engine are a little bit thicker.

The stamped steel valve cover bolts will work fine with the alum covers. 3-1/2" long. The bolts for the alum covers are chromed, I'm unsure of their length, I'd bet they are the same. The valley cover bolts are the same design but a little shorter, they may work as well.
