I was going to post this on the bench but I think it's best suited for this section. These are some pictures of my recent trip to TA. There was a thread not to long ago that said there was a shortage of aluminum heads.or none readily avaliable with out a long wait. This should put that though to rest.
Some more in the other build with the Wagon a the rest of his toys. Notice the large pallot to the left of the screen. :jd:
And did you notice how spotless the shop was? I've been there several times, and it is always VERY clean. Mike is a fanatic for cleanliness around the shop....and that's a GOOD thing! :TU: :beer
These are some of Mike toys. Gsx he brought from a basketball player. He did tell me the name.but I forgot.
I wonder what he 's going to do with this one. Notice the name on the window. should do pretty good with a BBB in it. :Brow:
And last but not least the world famous TA wagon. Pssst can you keep a secret? Ok I saw the wagon motor with the intake off. Awsome. :jd: But I can't show you. Mike Has to keep some secrets :Brow:
Thanks Terrance.. bitchin bunch of shots ya took...I can only think of one use for the cutlass.. ...fish
Thanks Dave I had a ball taking them. Although my wife is still talking about how hot it was. I have a few more pic that I took of a block modification that I will post. Yes Cole I did notice how clean the shop was. Mike puts me in the mind of the father on Orange county choppers when it comes to the shop being spottless.
Glad to see Mike is doing well. He has worked really hard over the years to produce some great products to keep us Buick guys racing. The new GTO is nice too. I love the power plant but they body is a little to me desired. Great idea overall. The Turbo Regal looks exactly like the one I used to have and the GSX looks like the one I have. I think you were talking about Basketball Sam.
Played for the NJ Generals when they were the traveling team for the Globetrotters. Man, has he got some stories! Fascinating to talk to. Great guy too.
Steve: I went to see them play back then and must have seen Sam. When I saw them I remember the name as Washington Generals but 40 -50 years clouds the memory.
