Anyone out there know of an Aluminum driveshaft (out of another GM type vehicle) that will bolt into a 84 Regal with a 455 engine/turbo 350 trans and a 8.5 GN rearend. I'm presently using the GN driveshaft but would like to loose some weight.

Just measure it and call up your prefered store.

I was told that unless you REALLY need the weight savings, stick with steel. Or else, go for the carbon fiber one that is even lighter and just as strong, if not stronger.

Aluminum is so, ahem, old school these days.
