Hello you guru's out there in Buick Land, I installed a Meziere electric water pump, Electric fan (from a police intersepter), Barry Grant Hot Rod 220 electric fuel pump, and have the MSD digital 7 plus ignition box and a MSD High Voltage coil, would a 65 amp alternator work for me? I do not have a need for a stereo, and do drive the car to the track to race, and around town on occasion. It would be really nice to go to NAPA and buy one that is ready to go and bolt on. I am in the process of wiring everything up, and will be running a either 8guage, or 10 gauge for the alternator if need be. One other thing to consider, is I do not know where to attach the alternator bracket to the new Meziere water pump. Thanks for your help. Rick Henderson
Now that Rick and Gary helped me with mounting the alternator bracket to the Mezeire water pump, this is the next step. Hoping to have it running today. Does anybody have a suggestion for a bolt on alternator? Rick
Rick, You will need a serious alternator to power everything, now that it's all electric. Call me I'll tell you what I did. still got my #? Jerry
