I think the alt. bracket will be to high for the hood to clear. I put a 350 in an 81 regal,is there an easy fix,I want to keep the ac. Do I need a turbo hood?
Same dimensions as a V-6, it doesn't look like it would clear. I have even seen a SBC in a G-body with the accessories off of a truck motor mounted on them and it cleared. The Alt and A/C mount way up high on those. Plus, the turbo hood only has a bulge at the back.
