last year i tried to get a all hearse crash up derby, i got tons of grief from the hearse clubs. they think that all hearse should be saved, where i thought some are just to far gone, and don't have much value and were going to the grave anyhow. but after all the grief i couldn't get the 5 car minimum i needed for an event. i was thinking next fall we should try to get an all mustang derby organised. no buick guy would mind smahing up some of the millions of junk mustangs out there. it will be at a county fair in the thumb of michigan. we could do camaro vs. mustang or who knows. send me your thoughts and ideas on this event.
i'm sure you are. however, the attitude towards derbies on this board is pretty much the same as or even more severe than the one you found from the hearse clubs. they don't approve, especially over in the boat forum (we lose a lot of perfectly good full size cars/wagons to derbies for no reason). just because you're talking about pony / non-buick cars i don't think it's going to change many minds here. regardless, i wouldn't make it anyway. too far to go for something like that. the mustang v camaro thing sounds funny just because it's so unexpected.
