Has anyone bolted on a set of "out of the box" Al heads in place of stock, small valve heads? TA catalog (if I recall correctly) states a 60(?) hp increase. I know there are a hundred variables. But I am curious if anyone has done this, what their combo is, and what kind of results they got. I have a mild street motor with stock, sm. valve heads. I sent in a deposit on some Al stg 1's. Hoping this will change things. Thanx for your time.
On the first motor i had the stage 2 heads right out of the box on was a mild set up it was trw forged dished pistons .050 piston to deck height about 9.7:1 CR and a sp 235 cam with a lift of .490 and 3000 stall 3.90 gears and the car had run 11.50 at 114mph so i was pretty happy with that setup. Not to sure how the stage 2 heads flow to the stage 1 heads out of the box. Mike
