al frankin for Mn. senate?

    first, jessie " the body" and now al "the obnoxious". i gotta move to blue earth!:laugh: so, what is in the water of those 10,000 lakes, anyway?

    Yep....He's a local, and has been pretty outspoken about the political scene for years, although I have not followed his discertations at all. He's been on the front page of Twin Cities Business recently (a very respectable mag), and it appears as though he might run against Norm Coleman next term.

    saw it in the paper last week. i guess it is just talk for now because the guy he wants to replace still has a few years to go before reelection. i think it may be a good idea to get him in the senete just so he gets to see the other side of the coin, so to speak, on subjects he is so vocal about. while we are at it, lets put all the regulars in the world of political decent in office to make them "put up or shut up". people like ralph nader, mike moore, david sonnenburg, and al franken are great at being critical and make a lot of great points in their essays, but i dont think they really understand the mechanics of real world politics.
