Airport 1/8 mile drags

    Hi all,
Haven't posted anything for a while so I thought I should update.
So we went out to a small airport drag meet. Surface is sketchy to say the least.
So now I have gone from Drag radials back to slicks. I used to run 9.0" slicks and can now squeeze a 10.5" under the guards.
Also have Viking drag shocks front and rear.
I have also setup an Innovate Motorsports Data Logging - Yes I regret it!!!!! POS!!
I log Engine RPM, Driveshaft RPM, TPS, AFR left and right, Fuel Pressure. Couldn't get any of it to work as the laptop kept crashing coz it uses an old LPT to USB adaptor that is soooo unreliable.
So the only data I had was manual recording on a spreadsheet I made up.
Bear in mind from my 60ft PBof 1.35 on a non radial prepped track using 275 Drag radials.
Would think with the 10.5 slick on a well prepped race track, I could get a low 1.3 maybe even a 1.28-29 as I haven't used the 2 step yet. Have always foot braked at 2000rpm.
From the data you can see the shock settings (max weight transfer) which I hadn't changed coz I only did three runs before a slower car protested me running to quick without being tech'd
So it was a good day as we ended up 2nd fastest on the day missing out on top spot by 2 tenths to a Blown/Injected BBC 69 Camaro that runs sevens on the 1/4
You can see in the photo I raced a Nissan GTR that isn't standard. I had 4 car lengths on him over the finish line. He was quite funny talking to him, He couldn't believe how much I beat him by LOL!!

This is the car that beat me by 2 tenths. Reckon if I was allowed to get more runs in, I would have gotten closer to him. Obviously he had a bigger struggle with traction, but bragging rights are worth it!!

Sure looks like it especially the higher rails on the side of the bed..
That was some huge air cleaner sticking out of the hood as best as I could see or tell?

Was thinking it was a Holden of some type? Without googling aren't Holden's basiclly GM's?
