Any one know where I can get a set of metering rods for my 64 , I have a 65 425 in it since the owner changed it. Im not sure which carb he used. I rebuilt it and I did a no-no and bent the rods putting her back together. I straightened them out, but I would prefer a new set if anyone can lead to the right place. The car starts right up, but put her in gear and she dies and have to start and let her warm up for 5 minutes again and she stays running any help greatly appreciated Garyray:

I have never personally used them. http://www.carburetion.com/Carter4.htm Also check with this guy: http://www.thecarburetorshop.com/ You can read the carb number off of the front face, down lower left. Find out what rod diameters and jets sizes are supposed to be in your engine and use them. Jim
