Okay Here goes, I finally figured out how I can hook up my Detent/Stator Switch to my new Edelbrock carb. Now a new problem has reared it ugly head and that is according to the manual I should have 5"1/2" from the firewall to the center of the clevis that holds the idle stator switch,When trying to get this distance I found out that the Carb will not come back to the Idle position!:af: Do I just ignore the Manual because it is for a stock Carter carb or what? I hope to have pictures of my problem by next week so I can show what I mean. Has anyone else had this problem? Do I need a new way of attaching the detent switch to the intake manifold or what?
