The other day I was just going to lunch at my office, when the local idiot in a ricer came flying up the street. Everyday at about 1:30 this little red Acura would come around the corner and turn up the afterburner (aka: fart muffler) and speed shift all the way past the playground full of soccer mom's & kids (65-75 MPH). This had gone on for weeks and we all expected the Madison PD to be waiting for him.

Anyway, as I'm heading out to my GS California, here he comes. Appearently the NOS decals and Yoko stickers just make cars fast(?), personally I think the sticker goo makes the kids stupid. So up come the rev's and he bangs 2nd - 3rd - 4th then BOOOOM! Maybe he did have NOS, the trail of oil, and small parts for 20 yards was nice, he also ended up with a tow sticker on the window last I saw. I guess he was trying to impress the guy with the old car. I did wave as I went by (threw some rev's his way as well).

here is another story... It came from my father in law who works down beside a ricer shop. they have an indoor dyno. You hear this little import screaming at the top of its lungs (picture in your head, a cat screaming). Estimate 8 or 9000 rpm. It back off the dyno run. At then ran it again up to 8 or 9000 (cat screaming again) then he ran it up to 8 or 9 and taged the NOS. My father in law heard the engine scatter from his shop two buildings away. I think it would be funnier to hear the kids comments (crying) than hearing the scattered motor:laugh:
