A pillar soft seals Convertible

    When I got the car it didn’t have seals...
    I’m looking for a picture of what this area should look like.
    When I dry install the seal it doesn’t seem right.
    (The seal in the pic is for the right side)

    Here is a before restoration on a 71 GS. These are the channels with no seal. Below is after restoration (kind of dirty, but hopefully you can see it).

    I attached pics but they are not great.

    thanks, you're right its missing. i wasn't aware that there is a channel.
    not going to be easy to find i'm guessing.

    you're 68 looks nice, is it triple white?

    Tim, maybe not. Put a post on boards someone might have a set. They are stainless and can be polished. I believe convertibles are different than a coupe.

    Mine is a 69, white, black, black.

    Ames Pontiac has almost all the parts for our cars as well as they used many identical parts. Not sure about the Chevy vendors, but Ames is pretty good.

    Try page 138 of their GTO catalog and you will probably find what you are looking for, or give them a call and see what they have.

    I am sure I have a set of these that were taken off a car. I have a bunch of convertible parts I have been saving.

    It might take me a week to locate them if you can wait. If you are interested let me know.
