A pillar covers from a 68-72 A body 2 door post, 4 door, or wagon

I need a set of A pillar covers from a 68-72 A body 2 door post, 4 door, or wagon. Any GM brand will fit, but they are different from the coupe and convertible covers. They supposedly came in a soft foam/pad style like the convertibles, and may also be metal like the coupes. The length is post car/wagon specific.

Attached is a picture of a set from a coupe for reference, but they are too long and won’t fit.

Actually 4-door sedan set is about an 1" longer than a 2-door hardtop. I have a pair of those if you need them

 

They should be all metal,not covered. The only ones I have seen padded/covered were convertible. Let me know if you don’t find any.

 

They are metal on both of my '72 sedans (a 2-door and 4-door).

 

I was going by what another board member told me yesterday.

I didn’t know that they were different until I tried to install a set I had for a coupe, and they are too long and will not fit.

I would prefer a metal set. Brian, do you have a set from a two door post car?

 

If nobody can help I have a set for 2 dr coupe, 4 dr are different and know for sure 68 are padded and 70-72 are metal.

Both my 1968's (GS 400 GS Cal) have padded A Pillar covers. I hate to disagree with Brian on anything, but I think at least in 1968 they are in fact padded.

 

68 69 were padded, 70-72 are steel. 2 door ht is different than 4 door or wagon. Convertible is all by itself.
