A Matter of clearance on mains and rods...

    :Comp: Question:what would be the ideal main and rod clearance on a stock BBB 455 crankshaft? Would there be different perameters to be determined for aluminium rods,over say,the Sportsman rods? Power range,external vs.internal balance...I have .010/.010 in my street-strip BBB,do I have to step up as far as longevity is concerned? Thanks,Jay B.Britt,Jr.

    i went 3 thou on mains and rods, grp aluminum rods ext balanced becasue i already had the balancer and flywheel i wish i had the $ 2 internal balance it
