A Gearbangers Get Together At BPG/Horsepower Nats

I was thnking we should set a date for all of us that hang out here at the U-Shift-Em section to get together while at the BPG/Horsepower Nats.

I dont know Columbus that well to pick a spot so suggestions are welcome.

possibly we just do it at National Trail? Or at the cruise-in.

Let me know your thoughts on a site and a date and time.

I'm in but I'm having nasty issues right now with my McLeod 12". The car might not be up in time for Columbus. I'll still hang out anyway!

Unlikely. I now have 14 hours under it with the tranny going in and out three times this week.

I had every intention of going to Columbus this year but unfortunately a new job and lack of funds has basically made this summer a write off for me regarding anything fun.

Tip a few for me guys and have a great time, I so wish I was going!! :beer

Tranny's in. It wasn't a tool issue. You auto guys have no idea what a precise 4 gear set up takes to accomplish. I appreciate the offer Dave.


I drove the car Saturday and it's an animal, even wiht the 3.08's. 3.73's are going in after Columbus. I still need to get a lot of little things worked out. NOt taking it to Ohio and not rushing will only help in the future.


IT WILL BE OUT THIS YEAR!!!!!


Oh and if I go without a car to Ohio, can someone say belligerent and drunk?

I planned on going, but my car is in paint, and I scattered the tranny.. I wanted to show off my fancy hydrualic clutch too.

 

So did all my fellow gear bangers meet up at the Nats? Did you guys terrorize them sissy auto trans slush lovers? :laugh:

I really wish I could have made it, the pics look like it was a great time.
