Hello, cons. a 77 Regal 350. Another few Questions: Are Sealed Power good pistons and rings?? Must I by afraid of the breaking in of a new cam?? When I decided to use my old stock cam is it recommended to time it also?? Is it necessary to re-torquing the headbolts?? Thanks again.
I haven't had any problems with my forged seal-power pistons and rings- Make sure you coat the lobes on the cam and the bottoms of the lifters with moly-lube- It doesn't hurt to time any cam when you put it in,any mass produced item will not always be 'right on'. Retorquing any bolt after it has gone thru a few heat cycles is also a good practice. Hope this helps
